Important Service Message Regarding COVID-19
We are pleased to announce we are now open!
Important update for blue channel travellers
From Thursday 29th July all blue channel travellers arriving into the Bailiwick will be required to take a supervised pre-travel PCR or Lateral Flow test before departing for the Bailiwick. A blue channel traveller is any person that is fully vaccinated and is travelling into the Bailiwick from the within the Common Travel Area. Fully vaccinated means having received both doses of an MHRA or EMA approved vaccine, administered in The Common Travel Area, with 14 days having passed since the second dose. The Common Travel Area is made up of the UK Republic of Ireland, Bailiwick of Guernsey, Jersey and Isle of Man. This is a change in requirements for blue channel travellers, who from 1st July up until 29th July have had no testing requirements. This change just applies to blue channel travellers – all other travellers will still be tested on arrival and will be required to isolate in accordance with the category system. Further details of this new requirement for blue channel travellers to be pre-tested will be announced by Tuesday 27th July, including what counts as a supervised test.
New requirements for travel from Jersey
From 00.01 Monday 19 July, travellers from the Bailiwick of Jersey to the Bailiwick of Guernsey will be required to present a negative PCR test before travelling. Any travellers not able to do so will be treated as Category 4 and will be required to self-isolate for 14 days. Read more here: bit.ly/3hFQ4uw

Victor Hugo’s House
For fourteen years, Hauteville House was home to famous French writer Victor Hugo, during his time in exile from France. Hugo spent his time there writing his masterpieces, as well as personally decorating the house. The House has re-opened in the beginning of April 2019 after 18 months of restoring the house.
